Scrappy Beginnings

The first meeting of Scrap Hunter Fanatics took place on October 12, 2013, at the Scrap Hoarder's Studio.  The first of many, I hope.  Each member picked out a quilt from Bonnie Hunter's arsenal of quilts to work on.

Connie

Connie worked on Wild and Goosey, incorporating scraps from many sources.  This quilt is so beautiful in person that we may all want to make one before she is finished.

Arlinda

Bricks and Stepping Stones is the project Arlinda decided to work on.  She made a lot of progress, and also worked on designing a pouch for post-surgery breast cancer patients.

Nancie

Nancie continued her work on Rectangle Wrangle.from a Bonnie Hunter class taken at the end of June.

Fran

Fran spent the day sorting fabric which will be cut to continue her work on Rectangle Wrangle (the Variable Star blocks above are the beginnings of the border for that quilt).  While cutting pieces for Rectangle Wrangle, Fran is also working on a 3x4-patch leader-ender project.

The End,,,'til next time.
